一、單位簡(jiǎn)介
生物島實(shí)驗(yàn)室成立于2017年12月22日，是廣東省以培育創(chuàng)建國(guó)家實(shí)驗(yàn)室、打造國(guó)家實(shí)驗(yàn)室“預(yù)備隊(duì)”為目標(biāo)啟動(dòng)建設(shè)的首批省實(shí)驗(yàn)室之一，2019年6月獲批為省級(jí)登記事業(yè)單位。
生物島實(shí)驗(yàn)室面向國(guó)家和廣東省重大戰(zhàn)略需求，聯(lián)合大灣區(qū)優(yōu)勢(shì)科研單位和眾多國(guó)際頂尖科研力量，瞄準(zhǔn)干細(xì)胞與再生醫(yī)學(xué)理論與技術(shù)的前沿研究，布局再生醫(yī)學(xué)前沿基礎(chǔ)研究、臨床創(chuàng)新研究、生物信息、生物安全研究以及高端生物醫(yī)療器械耗材研發(fā)五大科研方向，邀請(qǐng)了24位國(guó)內(nèi)外院士加入，引入1200 余人、52個(gè)創(chuàng)新合作團(tuán)隊(duì)，形成了一支高水平研究隊(duì)伍。生物島實(shí)驗(yàn)室立足國(guó)際化、高起點(diǎn)，致力于建設(shè)重大科技基礎(chǔ)設(shè)施和平臺(tái)，打造再生醫(yī)學(xué)與健康前沿研究基地、臨床應(yīng)用基地、成果轉(zhuǎn)化及產(chǎn)業(yè)化基地和高水平人才基地，推動(dòng)生物醫(yī)藥與健康產(chǎn)業(yè)高質(zhì)量發(fā)展；同時(shí)，高度重視國(guó)際合作，積極搭建馬普組織干細(xì)胞與再生醫(yī)學(xué)研究中心等國(guó)際合作中心，深度參與大灣區(qū)建設(shè)，爭(zhēng)取成為大灣區(qū)打造世界級(jí)科技創(chuàng)新中心的重要組成部分。
二、課題組簡(jiǎn)介
閔明瑋研究員，2010年于四川大學(xué)取得學(xué)士學(xué)位，2014年于劍橋大學(xué)取得博士學(xué)位，隨后在哈佛醫(yī)學(xué)院和科羅拉多大學(xué)（Boulder）完成博士后訓(xùn)練，2020年受聘為生物島實(shí)驗(yàn)室細(xì)胞命運(yùn)與譜系研究中心研究員。前期工作主要專注于細(xì)胞增殖等基本的命運(yùn)調(diào)控過(guò)程，未來(lái)將探索發(fā)育和抗壓等生理病理過(guò)程中更廣義的細(xì)胞命運(yùn)決定。相關(guān)研究成果以第一或通迅作者發(fā)表在Science、PLoS Biology、Cell Reports、Molecular & Cellular Proteomics和 Molecular Biology of the Cell等國(guó)際知名期刊上。
實(shí)驗(yàn)室主要專注于細(xì)胞命運(yùn)決定的研究。細(xì)胞是解讀遺傳信息的基本生命單位，通過(guò)與環(huán)境的相互作用，細(xì)胞和通過(guò)分裂產(chǎn)生的譜系把基因組里的信息轉(zhuǎn)化成有生命的有機(jī)體。在構(gòu)建有機(jī)體的發(fā)育過(guò)程中以及在多變的環(huán)境中維持生命穩(wěn)態(tài)的過(guò)程中，細(xì)胞命運(yùn)都在時(shí)間與空間層面上被嚴(yán)格地調(diào)控。我們將利用高通量活細(xì)胞成像和計(jì)算機(jī)輔助跟蹤技術(shù)，獲取細(xì)胞變化中時(shí)間和空間上的關(guān)鍵信息，通過(guò)在時(shí)空上精細(xì)可控的操作來(lái)探索系統(tǒng)組織中細(xì)胞譜系發(fā)生和變化的因果關(guān)系。我們的長(zhǎng)期目標(biāo)是建立可定量的理論模型來(lái)實(shí)現(xiàn)對(duì)細(xì)胞命運(yùn)變化的解釋與預(yù)測(cè)，為我們了解基本的生命活動(dòng)過(guò)程 - 微觀分子，物理和化學(xué)層面的信息如何導(dǎo)致宏觀表型的變化 - 提供理論框架，同時(shí)基于這些理論框架對(duì)疾病提出有效可行的干預(yù)手段。我們誠(chéng)邀對(duì)相關(guān)問(wèn)題感興趣，有生物學(xué)，數(shù)理，工程或計(jì)算機(jī)背景，熱愛(ài)科學(xué)研究的青年才俊加入我們。
三、崗位需求及應(yīng)聘條件
副研究員/博士后，2人
崗位職責(zé)：
1.參與研究課題設(shè)計(jì)，主導(dǎo)科研工作；
2.指導(dǎo)及幫助實(shí)驗(yàn)室其他成員的工作，參與實(shí)驗(yàn)室內(nèi)部以及與其它實(shí)驗(yàn)室的合作；
3.通過(guò)撰寫論文，作會(huì)議報(bào)告等方式交流自己的工作；
4.獨(dú)立或協(xié)助申請(qǐng)國(guó)內(nèi)外的科研項(xiàng)目。
應(yīng)聘條件：
1.對(duì)生物學(xué)有濃厚的興趣，有強(qiáng)烈的好奇心；
2.擁有或即將獲得生物、數(shù)理或工程博士學(xué)位，博士后獲得博士學(xué)位不超過(guò)三年，年齡35歲以下，副研究員有至少兩年博士后經(jīng)歷；
3.能夠主導(dǎo)推進(jìn)課題；
4.優(yōu)秀的表達(dá)能力，良好的英語(yǔ)寫作和交流能力；
5.至少一項(xiàng)以下的專長(zhǎng)/經(jīng)驗(yàn)：
1）分子、細(xì)胞、發(fā)育生物學(xué)，特別是細(xì)胞重編程及分化等命運(yùn)改變模型，細(xì)胞通信，不對(duì)稱分裂，壓力反應(yīng)；
2）高通量測(cè)序建庫(kù)與分析；
3）計(jì)算機(jī)輔助圖像處理方法的開(kāi)發(fā)；光片顯微鏡。
科研助理，2人
崗位職責(zé)：
根據(jù)課題或項(xiàng)目需求，主導(dǎo)或協(xié)助完成科研工作。
應(yīng)聘條件：
1.擁有或即將獲得生物、數(shù)理或工程等相關(guān)領(lǐng)域的碩士或?qū)W士學(xué)位；

Postdoc and research associate positions available in the Min Lab at the Bioland Laboratory
Multiple postdoc and research associate positions are available in the Min Lab in the Center for Cell Lineage and Atlas (CCLA) at the Bioland Laboratory (Guangzhou Regenerative Medicine and Health Guangdong Laboratory, GRMH-GDL), starting fall 2021. The Bioland Laboratory, founded on 22nd December 2017, operates as a public research institution in Guangdong Province. It is one of the first provincial laboratories to be developed as a national laboratory.
Research in the Min lab is focused on understanding how cells make fate decisions based on their genetic blueprints, internal cell states and environmental signals. Cells and their lineages transform the genetic information into living organisms. Cell fate decisions lie in the heart of the developmental processes that build the organisms, and the homeostatic processes that facilitate their adaptation to changing environments. We seek to understand how these decisions are regulated in the temporal and spatial domain. To do this, we use high-throughput live-cell microscopy and cell tracking to collect quantitative information. We probe the causal organization of cells by temporally controlled perturbations and modeling. Our long-term goal is to establish quantitative and predictive theories of cell fate decision. We hope to provide a framework to understand how molecular interactions at the microscopic scale are connected to cellular phenotypes, and how diseases arise when these processes are mis-regulated.
Duties and responsibilities
You will be expected to engage in defining specific research programs in any of the above research areas and undertake these with colleagues in a multi-disciplinary team. Considerable independence is expected, with anticipation of a growing role in leadership of the research project. In addition, you will be expected to contribute substantially to writing scientific papers and to attracting external research funding.
Essential requirements
Postdoc and research associate: you will hold (or be close to completing) a PhD in biology, math, physics or engineering. You will be curious, ambitious, and passionate to tackle challenging problems. You must have excellent communication skills. Experience in cell biology, developmental biology, image processing, single-cell omics data analysis, or light sheet microscopy is highly desirable.
Salary and benefits
We provide internationally competitive salary: Research Associates 350,000+ RMB per annum; Postdocs 300,000+ RMB per annum per annum according to experience. Social security, health insurance and other benefits will be provided in high standard.
