大多數(shù)人在面試的時(shí)候,只是單純地回答面試官所提出的問(wèn)題,那樣你只能一味跟著對(duì)方的思路走。相反,如果能夠在面試中主動(dòng)提出一些適當(dāng)?shù)膯?wèn)題,那樣也許就能讓你掌握主動(dòng)權(quán):你既可以借著問(wèn)題展現(xiàn)自己,同時(shí)又是進(jìn)一步了解公司的好途徑。
1. Have you had a chance to review my resume?
您有看過(guò)我的簡(jiǎn)歷嗎?
別以為這是個(gè)多余的問(wèn)題,事實(shí)上,不少的面試人員事前并沒(méi)有看過(guò)應(yīng)聘者的簡(jiǎn)歷,就匆匆忙忙開(kāi)始了面談。他們一邊面試一邊看你的簡(jiǎn)歷。這個(gè)問(wèn)題是個(gè)開(kāi)場(chǎng)白,如果他們沒(méi)有看過(guò)你的簡(jiǎn)歷,通常也不會(huì)承認(rèn),可能會(huì)說(shuō):" I haven't had the chance to review it in details as I would like to."(其實(shí)就是一次也沒(méi)看過(guò)= =)不要為此懊喪,沒(méi)看過(guò)的話,正好可以說(shuō),"Well, maybe it is helpful for me to talk about the highlightsof my qualifications." 就好象一個(gè)銷(xiāo)售人員在推銷(xiāo)產(chǎn)品之前,總是問(wèn)“你對(duì)這個(gè)產(chǎn)品有什么認(rèn)識(shí)/了解嗎?”然后再開(kāi)始自己的陳述。即使他們說(shuō)已經(jīng)看過(guò)你的簡(jiǎn)歷,你一樣可以說(shuō):"So let me talk about the highlights of my qualifitions."
2. Is there anything else I can tell you about my qualifications?
關(guān)于我所取得的成績(jī),還有什么需要我來(lái)陳述的嗎?
有可能的話,我建議你盡量用"qualifications"代替"experience"。qualifications這詞是我在新*東*方一次講座中學(xué)到的,它更能代表取得的成績(jī),更加突出了你是有才之士,相比之下后者比較中性、被動(dòng)。問(wèn)這個(gè)問(wèn)題,有益無(wú)害,只要面試官說(shuō)Yes,你就有更多的機(jī)會(huì)把最好的料子亮出來(lái)。越能讓對(duì)方說(shuō)Yes,你在他們眼中就越有價(jià)值,留下的印象越深。假設(shè)面試總共有三次的話,這是在首次和第二次面試中值得問(wèn)的問(wèn)題。
3. I've read the job description, of course, but how would you describe the nature and duties of this job?
我確實(shí)有看過(guò)你們的工作介紹,但還是想請(qǐng)教一下您是如何看待這份工作的性質(zhì)和職責(zé)的?
乍看這個(gè)問(wèn)題顯得明知故問(wèn),其實(shí)不然。你對(duì)這份工作有你的理解,而招聘人員也許有他自己的看法,和登出來(lái)的招聘要求并不完全一樣。通過(guò)他們對(duì)這份工作的描述,至少你可以聽(tīng)出來(lái)什么是最重要的,什么是招聘廣告里面沒(méi)提到的。那么借此發(fā)揮:"I am glad to hear that maintainingcustomer relationship is a great part of this position. I am very customer-focused and always keep their needs in mind." 假設(shè)你在第二次面試中和另一個(gè)面試人員談,那么可以再次問(wèn)這個(gè)問(wèn)題:"I've spoken to Mr. Smith about the responsibilities involved in this job. What would you consider to be the most important aspects of this position?"
4. What results would you like to see me produce?
您希望我能為公司做出哪些成就?
問(wèn)這個(gè)問(wèn)題,顯示出你的心態(tài)是"do a job",真正的干活,不是混口飯吃。不管對(duì)方說(shuō)什么,你都可以接著說(shuō):"This is what you expect, and this is what I will do." 可以對(duì)新的面試官重復(fù)同樣的問(wèn)題。
5. Based on what I've told you, don't you think that I could give you all that you need in this position?
就我目前所陳述的這些,您認(rèn)為我能滿(mǎn)足貴公司對(duì)該職位人員的要求嗎?
就象所有的銷(xiāo)售人員,在最后敲定之前,都會(huì)問(wèn):“根據(jù)我前面的介紹,你難道不認(rèn)為這是筆好交易嗎?”這個(gè)問(wèn)題是為了引出一個(gè)積極的回應(yīng),絕大多數(shù)的面試人員很難在這個(gè)問(wèn)題下生硬地打發(fā)你,他們很可能說(shuō)Yes。 |
